Rainbows fall to #27 UC-Irvine, 4-1

The University of Hawaii Baseball team opened a three game Big West Conference series at UC-Irvine Friday, with a 4-1 loss to the 27th Ranked Anteaters.

Sophomore Centerfielder Ka’eo Aliviado, drove in Hawaii’s only run of the game in the top of the 9th inning. Aliviado, would finish 1-4 with a single and his 7th RBI of the season.

Senior Starter Conner Little (1-4) was tagged with the loss, having worked all 8 innings for UH, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits with 4 strikeouts.


Series continues Saturday with game 2. First pitch is scheduled for 10:00 am HST.
