Dozens of people took a very cold dip in ice water on Saturday for a good cause.
They took the Polar Plunge in an effort to help Special Olympics Hawaii.
“Well, all of these folks who are going down the slide today have down their own fundraising efforts. Each person has a minimum of $75. Many have raised many more and that’s how were raising the money today,” Special Olympics Hawaii Development Manager Kyle Karioka said.
Their goal was to raise $50,000.
