Board of Water Supply crews kept busy repairing trio of water main problems

Board of Water Supply crews were busy Saturday repairing three water main problems on Oahu.

The first one was reported at about 10:30 p.m. Friday night on Waialae Avenue near Kapahulu Avenue.  A water wagon was set up for the 30 customers without water.  Service has since been restored and the road is open.

The second was reported Friday at 5:15 p.m. on Monsarrat Avenue near Campbell Avenue.  The 6-inch leak was repaired about 7:00 a.m. Saturday.  Crews have finished repairs on the pipe.

The third was reported at about 5:00 a.m. Saturday on Aikahi Loop near Mokapu Road.  200 customers were without water service until about 3:30 p.m.  The roadway was re-opened at 4:15 p.m.
