Kalihi Stabbing Scene

The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s office has identified the man involved in a fatal stabbing in Kalihi.   20-year old Jason Oliveros was found with puncture wounds on the side of Halona Street around 2:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Police say two suspects were seen chasing Oliveros shortly before the incident.

21-year old Asuelu Moananu and 21-year old Vainuuao Tosoga were arrested for murder.

Tosoga remains in police custody on second degree murder charges. He’s being held on $150,000 bail, and is expected in court on Monday.

Moananu has been released pending an investigation.
