There’s a tentative agreement between the state and the union representing Hawaii’s government workers.
The Hawaii Government Employees Association agreed on terms for the two-year- contract which begins in July.
The tentative agreement includes a four percent salary raise each year, and a 60-40 employer-employee split on medical insurance.
This applies to supervisory employees.
The contract still needs to be approved by members, who will vote next week.
Negotiations continue for other union members including University of Hawaii employees.
