People living in Hawaii are the happiest in the nation.
A new survey also shows that Hawaii is also the least stressed state.
For the survey, 350,000 Americans were asked whether they experienced a lot of stress during the previous day.
Just over 32 percent of Hawaii residents said yes.
The state with the most stressed residents was West Virginia with 47 percent, or nearly half of those surveyed.
The national average was 40 percent.
A previous survey named West Virginia the unhappiest and fattest state of 2012.
Also, having money doesn’t always result in carefree attitudes.
Mississippi was among the least stressed states, even though it has one of the highest poverty rates in the nation.
