TV’s across the state were tuned in to the NFL draft for a second day as football fans eagerly waited to see where Te’o would go.
Going into Friday many were guessing who would grab him up. Now that it’s been decided Te’o is heading to San Diego, local fans are glad it’s a team close to home.
Many were expecting a first round pick with the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, even the Baltimore Ravens.
So for round two today, many were excited to see how the draft played out.
“I’m cool with that it’s good for him, new change, best wishes to him,” said football fan Bob Tsui.
“Close to home and we all wish him well and play for the Chargers, we thought he would go earlier with Bears or Vikings, but go get ‘um Manti make us proud,” said football fan Larry Kekaulike.
