A group of six kayakers were rescued in waters in Honolulu on Saturday.
It happened at about 8 a.m.
The kayakers called the fire department to say that their kayaks overturned and four people were in the water. Coast Guard and the Honolulu Fire Department responded.
The Coast Guard response boat crew took five people — four from the water and one from a kayak. No one was injured. The five people aboard the response boat and their three kayaks were taken to Ala Wai Boat Harbor. A sixth member of the group paddled to Kaimana Beach.
Everyone was wearing a lifejacket.
