Yesterday, in the twilight of Ala Wai park, there was an epic ILH baseball battle.

The Raiders of ‘Iolani captured the second and final league birth into the division-1 state tournament with a dramatic 2-1 win over Saint Louis.

In the 12th inning, the Crusaders appeared to have win via a walk off single with men on first and third, but it was appealed that the runner at first did not touch second base before celebrating. The run was negated with the force out at second base.

The game rolled onto the 13th, where ‘Iolani tacked-on the game winning run with Joshua Inouye’s RBI single plating Christian Donahue.
