Signs warning people about contaminated water at Keehi Lagoon will be taken down Monday.
The state health department approved the move.
For the past several months, the city has gathered water samples, checking for sewage contamination but hasn’t figured out what’s causing a high spike in bacteria.
They’ve flushed and cleaned a 42-inch pipe, and have ordered materials to re-line it.
Water samples will be taken until the pipe is re-lined.
