Books and music are the main attraction this weekend at the Honolulu Hale Civic Center grounds for the 8th annual book and music festival.
There’s hula performances, characters from children’s books, and even a book swap.
“So you bring in books. and they give you tickets,” said Emily Ching who attended the event. “Then how ever many tickets they give you, that’s how many books you can get.”
This young reader plans to share her books with her brother and sister.
If you missed the fun Saturday, the festival runs Sunday from 11 a.m. To 6 p.m.
There’s even a smartphone app for the event. Click here.
