A popular restaurant in Moiliili is closing this weekend.

Da Kitchen will be serving its final meal on Saturday.

The owner says they were not able to agree on a new lease for the Isenberg Street location.

The restaurant’s 18 employees have all been offered jobs to work at the chain’s two Maui locations.

“I wish we weren’t closing down, we’re disappointing a lot of people. All our customers are coming in and they’re just super bummed. I love all my customers,” Da Kitchen employee Celeste Hardy said..

Da Kitchen has no plans yet to re-open somewhere else on Oahu.
