Even though it’s been more than two years since the deadly Japanese earthquake and tsunami, thousands are still in need of help.
Dozens turned out at the Bishop Museum on Sunday night for a benefit luau and kanikapila.
It was organized by a former Aiea resident Ryoji Soranaka who owns a popular restaurant in Japan.
He’s been fundraising since the effort began in the aftermath of the disaster.
