A woman accused of attempted murder and robbery made her first appearance in court on Tuesday.
The incident happened in Makaha on May 19.
Honolulu Police say May Brewer went up to the victim, who was seated in a car, and tried to rob her at gunpoint.
Court documents state the gun went off and the bullet grazed the victim’s forehead.
Brewer then reached for the victim’s purse and ran off with $200.
The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police arrested Brewer Saturday night.
Her bail is set at $250,000.
