University of Hawai’i two-year starting wide receiver Trevor Davis has decided to transfer.
Davis declined to give specific reason for the decision, however, Davis did tell KHON2 Sports Director Rob DeMello that he has been granted a release from his scholarship.
The Martinez, California native will have to sit out of competition during the 2013 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
Davis is still considering what school he will attend after his departure from UH.
In 15 games with the Warriors, Davis caught 45 passes for 605 yards and 5 touchdowns.
