The 2013 ISA Junior World Surfing Championships started in Nicaragua today where the Verizon Hawaii surf team will look to make it back-to-back world titles.
Before their departure, we caught up with them at practice in Kakaako. According to head coach Rainos Hayes and his 12-member squad being the ambassadors of aloha is priority number one.
