Firefighters responded to another unscheduled cane fire on Maui.
The fire happened just before 1 p.m. Sunday near Holomua Road and Hana Highway.
In total 26 acres of sugar cane was burned.
Hawaiian Commercial and Sugar Company estimates the loss from the fire to be around $100,000.
Just several days ago, firefighters had to put out three separate unscheduled cane fires that are believed to have been intentionally set.
There were nine acres destroyed by those three fires with a loss estimated at around $45,000.
