Saint Louis graduate and University of Oregon sophomore quarterback Marcus Mariota is soaking up his final days in the 808 before heading back to Eugene, and KHON2 caught up with the reigning Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and All-American Thursday in Kahala.

The southeast Oahu native is getting major buzz as a legitimate Heisman Trophy contender heading into his second year as lead Duck, and according to the 2013 Fiesta Bowl champion and MVP, basking in the Aloha State sunshine serves as a chance to re-charge.
