A public meetings will be held to discuss controversial plans to build high-rises in Kakaako.
The agency in charge says it wants to hear from the public before making a decision.
The Hawaii Community Development Authority has scheduled two supplemental public comment sessions to listen to more public concerns on three projects; the 803 Waimanu development which calls for a 29-floor building, the Victoria Ward project anchored by a 43-floor condominium at 404 Ward Ave., and the Collection at 604 Ala Moana Blvd. which includes a 43-story tower.
The first meeting takes place this Saturday, June 22, at 10 a.m.
The second meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 24, at 5:30 p.m.
Both will take place at the HCDA at 461 Cooke Street.
