No tsunami threat for Hawaii after earthquake near Molokai


The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 4.0-magnitude earthquake off the north coast of Molokai.

The earthquake was reported at 12:04 a.m. (HST) Friday.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says based on all available data, a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected and there is no tsunami threat for Hawaii.
