Police open attempted-murder case after shooting in Waipahu

Honolulu Police have opened an attempted-homicide case after a shooting in Waipahu.

The incident was reported at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to authorities, a group of men confronted another group of four men where a chase ended up at a Shell service station.

Police say three gunshots were fired and a bullet grazed a man’s leg. A second bullet hit a car and the third bullet hit a nearby apartment window.

No arrests have been made at this time.
