37th Annual NCAA Hawaii Summer League tips off

The 37th Annual Hawaii College Basketball Summer League started Saturday night with the defending champions of Solar Universe beating Clark Hatch Fitness, 90-74.

Solar Universe was led by Iolani/Washington State alum Derrick Low, he posted a team high 23 points. Low, recently signed to play with the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, starting in mid July.

13 of the 16 players on the 2013-2014 Rainbow Warrior team are on Summer League rosters. Although, most of the players won’t begin play until July.
