A popular restaurant in Chinatown has reopened after a late-night fire damaged back in March.
Indigo Restaurant, located on Nuuanu Avenue, has been closed for about three months.
“The fire was devastating, but the with help and support from so many family and friends, vendors, and our landlords, Hawaii Theatre and Elisabeth Stack, we are able to finally reopen our doors after three months,” Indigo Restaurant Chef Glenn Chu said.
Investigators say an electrical malfunction in a wall outlet caused the fire.
No injuries were reported.
The fire caused about $100,000 in damage.
