Anxiously, former Louisville Cardinal point guard Peyton Siva will await tomorrow’s 2013 NBA draft.
Many across Hawai’i could take inspiration from the 2013 national champion, who’s entrance into the NBA would make him only the 3rd Samoan in league history, joining current Sacramento King James Johnson and former San Diego Clipper Wally Rank.
Also nail-biting will be his father, Peyton Sr, a Hawai’i native. It’s a connection Siva Jr. embraces, and according to his father, wants to develop with future youth clinics in Hawai’i.
The NBA draft starts tomorrow at 1:00 pm HST.
