State confirms 2 more cases of Hepatitis A linked to recalled frozen berries

Recalled Berry Blend

The number of Hepatitis A infection cases in Hawaii is growing.

Two more cases were confirmed in the islands and have been linked to recalled frozen berries sold at Costco.

Currently, there are a total of seven confirmed cases in Hawaii — three on Oahu, two on Kauai, and two on Maui.

According to the state Department of Health, everyone who’s been confirmed with Hepatitis A are adults.

Costco is offering free Hepatitis A vaccines to customers who consumed the Townsend Farms Organic Antioxidant Blend.
