Nearly seven months after his death, the legacy of Sen. Daniel Inouye lives on.
The University of Hawaii at Manoa and the Library of Congress, based in Washington, D.C., want to create the Daniel K. Inouye Project.
A press conference was held Monday morning at UH Manoa’s Hamilton Library.
The agreement would allow both sides to digitally exchange content from the Inouye Congressional Papers.
The agreement would also let them collaborate on projects that promote public understanding of U.S. history and government.
