Strikes 4 Kids is proud to announce the 1st Annual Samson Satele Strikes 4 Kids Bowling Classic. The charity event will be hosted by Indianapolis Colts/Island Native lineman Samson Satele. Growing up in Kailua, Mr. Satele has seen a lot of underprivileged kids around who did not have the resources or opportunities to achieve their dreams of going to college. Now going into his 7th NFL season Mr. Satele is looking to make just a big of an impact off the field in his hometown area just as he makes on the football field. Mr. Satele is excited about becoming a central figure in the community. Samson is extremely excited to be involved with Strikes for Kids and is looking forward to an event designed to motivate people from all walks of life and help raise money for less fortunate children young people who want to attend college but are short of the financial resources to do so in the Honolulu/Aiea/Oahu community.

A portion of the proceeds will be used to purchase necessary goods for disadvantaged youth in the Honolulu/Kailua area such as backpacks, toys, and school suppliesprovide scholarships to young people who want to attend college but are short of the financial resources to do so. Proceeds will also benefit other local charities throughout the Honolulu/Kailua area that provide services to the youth our events serve — local homeless shelters, Boys and Girls Clubs, children’s hospitals and other organizations that need assistance.

Strikes 4 Kids is a nonprofit organization. Strikes 4 Kids plans to uphold its mission of youth enrichment by organizing charity golf and bowling events that will directly impact the lives of local community children by offering free access to these events for all children, as well as providing safe, non-violent options for interaction with other youth, as well as association with outstanding adult role models amongst the community.

Providing safe avenues for fun for local children, as well as donating goods and funds to other organizations furthers our mission by providing escape from the constraints of living in at-risk communities, and low income families. All components of our activities will be targeting such youth and providing protective factors that can limit youth exposure to risk.
