Hawaiian Electric Company crews responded to a power outage in the Makiki area due to a downed utility pole.
The incident happened just after 9 p.m. Thursday near Lunalilo Street and Ward Avenue.
Initially, 4,000 customers were without power. Power was restored to all customers by Friday morning.
Honolulu police closed Ward Avenue from Kinau to Green Streets in both directions overnight. The road was reopened at about 1 p.m. Friday.
