On Hawaii’s Most Wanted we feature a man who’s wanted on warrants totaling $1 million.
Honolulu police are looking for Lamar Johnson.
“On July 19, 2012, a male checked into the Trump International Hotel using a credit card that was found to be fraudulent. The owner of the credit card was contacted and notified them that he was actually in possession of the credit card and that he did not authorize Johnson to use the credit card,” Honolulu Police Department Crimestoppers coordinator Sgt. Kim Buffett said.
Police and secret service agents stopped Johnson as he was leaving the hotel.
“In his pockets were numerous credit cards with identifications of his face and their names to match,” Buffett said.
Johnson was charged with identity theft, forgery, resisting arrest, and fraudulent use of a credit card.
His bail was set at $1 million.
Police say Johnson’s friend bailed him out by paying a bail bondsman using forged property.
Johnson was supposed to be in court on June 10 but he never showed up.
He’s now wanted on two warrants totaling $1 million.
Lamar Johnson is 27-years-old, 6′ tall, and 260 pounds. He is from California.
Johnson does not have any local address here nor prior convictions. If you know where Lamar Johnson is call Crimestoppers at 955-8300.
