On Tuesday, media and invited guests got a preview of the latest technology built at Genki Sushi in Ala Moana Center.
A traditional Hawaiian blessing was held and the President of Genki Sushi USA, Inc. attended the event.
The 49-seat restaurant features the same delicious sushi bar, but now customers can order instantly at a touch screen computer panel.
Those who attended the preview were able to try out the touch screen panel ordering system.
Genki Sushi, Co., Ltd. launched the new technology in Japan and the Ala Moana location is the first in America to have the new sushi features.
The restaurant opens to the public on Wednesday.
