State dinners are usually reserved for world leaders, but that wasn’t the case on Tuesday as kids were guests of honor at the White House.

The President and First Lady Michelle Obama welcomed kids from across the nation to celebrate the second annual Healthy Lunchtime Challenge.

Fifty-four winners from all states, territories, and Washington, D.C. dined on dishes they created as part of a recipe contest.

Eight-year-old Eleanor Cowell represented Hawaii with her recipe. It included a curried chicken salad and taste of the tropics fruit bowl.
