On Hawaii’s Most Wanted, KHON2 features a woman who’s wanted on a warrant in connection with stealing a taxi.
Honolulu police are looking for Adlida Correia.
“On December 8, 2011 at 1:15 a.m. a female flagged down a taxi cab on Kuhio Avenue and asked to be driven to the Waianae area. The taxi cab stopped for gas on Kapahulu, where the taxi driver went in to pay the cashier. While paying the cashier, he noticed his vehicle was being driven out of the driveway. He called police and an all points bulletin was issued islandwide. The vehicle was located on Kunia road with the female driver identified as Correia,” Honolulu Police Department Crimestoppers coordinator, Sgt. Kim Buffett said.
Correia was arrested for unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, and for driving without a license.
She is now wanted on a $100,000 warrant for not showing up for her HOPE modification hearing last month.
Adlida Correia is 29-years-old, 5-feet 8-inches tall and 149 pounds.
She’s known to frequent the leeward area, Waianae mostly, and has two prior convictions.
