Honolulu police arrested and charged 48-year-old Brian Kim with second degree murder.
Police say Kim is accused of stabbing a man in his 50s at Kailua District Park Friday morning.
The man died at the hospital.
Kim’s bail is set at $250,000.
Kailua is hosting two neighborhood meetings with police on Tuesday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 17.
Both meetings will be held at the Kailua District Park meeting room.
The Tuesday meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and will be about the recent rash of crimes in Kailua.
The meeting on Wednesday, starts at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the Windward district as a whole and the opportunities in Community Policing.
