It was all about mangoes today at the Mangoes at The Moana Festival.
Visitors and locals enjoyed a mangoes farmers market, and cooking demonstrations.
Top chefs also came out to share their best mango creations such as a fish sandwich with mango from Turtle Bay Resort.
“Kamaaina love this event. Visitors get to sample some of the best of Oahu and mangoes from around the state,” Westin General Manager, Craig Anderson said. “The entries in the recipe contest were the best ever. the mangoes are tasting great, and we got great chefs and recipes behind us.”
There was also a best mango contest, and even a Moana Mangoes social media contest.
This is the fifth annual Mangoes at The Moana Festival.
Proceeds go to the Culinary Institute of the Pacific.
