The full autopsy report reveals more about the death of 35-year-old Stephen Dinnan.

He died after being restrained by Honolulu police, who say he resisted when they arrived at a Waimanalo home to investigate an auto theft.

But the medical examiner also says he was put in a chokehold by a civilian before the scuffle with police, which is a contributing factor in his death.

Traces of marijuana were also found in his system.

Dinnan’s family claims police used excessive force.
