The man who was struck and killed by a trolley while crossing the street in Kakaako last Thursday night has been identified.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as 40-year-old Antonio Lincoln.
The incident happened on Ala Moana Boulevard near Kamakee Street shortly before 11 p.m.
According to Honolulu police, the trolley had the green light at the time of the accident. Police say speed and alcohol were not factors on the part of the trolley driver.
Lincoln was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died.
According to the medical examiner, Lincoln died from multiple-blunt force injuries. His death has been ruled as an accident.
