Five people made it out of their burning Ewa Beach home alive Tuesday afternoon.
Honolulu firefighters were called to a home on Koalipehu Street shortly after 2:30 p.m.
Officials believe the blaze started in a bedroom, then spread to another room.
One resident was treated for exposure to smoke at the scene, but was not taken to the hospital.
A total of 10 people lived in the home and are now displaced. The American Red Cross is assisting the affected residents.
Damage is estimated at $80,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
