All Maui, Oahu shelters closed Tuesday morning

In partnership with the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii Red Cross volunteers have closed three shelters on Oahu that had been opened in response to Flossie.

The following  Oahu shelters have been closed as of 10 p.m. Monday:

  • Wahiawa District Park
  • Waimanalo District Park
  • Brigham Young University Hawaii

The following Oahu shelters closed at 7 a.m. Tuesday:

  • Ewa Mahiko District Park
  • Kailua District Park
  • Kalakaua District Park
  • Kilauea District Park
  • Koko Head District Park
  • Waialua United Church of Christ
  • Waianae District Park

In partnership with County of Maui, Hawaii Red Cross volunteers have closed following shelters on Maui that had been opened in response to Flossie.

The following Maui shelters have been closed as of 10 p.m. Monday:

  • Kilohana Community Center
  • Lanai High School
  • Hannibal Tavares (Pukalani) Community Center
  • Molokai High School

The following Maui shelters closed at 8 a.m. Tuesday:

  • War Memorial Gymnasium
  • Lahaina Civic Center
  • Kamalii Elementary School
  • Hana High School
