Surveillance video captures 2 Oahu robberies at gunpoint

Honolulu police are investigating two Oahu robberies involving a male suspect with a gun.

The first incident happened on July 19 at about 5:15 a.m. at Ono’s Market on Kalihi Street when a male brandished a handgun and demanded money. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

The second incident happened the same day shortly after 7:30 p.m. at the Yobo Mart on Pensacola Street. The suspect also brandished a handgun, demanded money, and fled the scene.

HPD says they are not confirming or denying that the two robberies are connected.
