Honolulu Police arrested an 18-year-old Waipahu man for attempted murder Sunday after they found another man who had been stabbed.
Police said it started on Emerson Street in Haleiwa.
Neighbors say they heard people partying throughout the night and when police showed up at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, they found a 19-year-old man with stab wounds.
A neighbor, who didn’t want to go on camera, described the frightening scene.
“There were cars lined up along this whole stretch. We heard a lot of screaming a lot of commotion. This morning there were cops at the end of this road taking pictures,” neighbor said.
The victim was taken to the hospital.
The victim spoke with police and identified 18-year-old Reivictor Agustin of Waipahu as the person who stabbed him.
Police located Agustin and arrested him for DUI and attempted murder.
He has not yet been charged.
