Honolulu police and firefighters were called to Kilauea Avenue in Kahala Monday morning after a car struck a utility pole.
The incident happened at about 9:15 a.m. when the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the pole.
No major injuries were reported.
Police closed Kilauea Avenue between Luawai and Elepaio Streets while crews moved the utility pole from the roadway.
Police say one eastbound lane on Kilauea Avenue remains coned off.
