Honolulu firefighters are monitoring a brush fire on the Waianae coast.
The fire broke out just before 5:00 p.m. Saturday night about a quarter mile past Keeau Beach Park.
The fire has burned about a hundred acres and is 75-percent contained.
An abandoned house went up in flames. However, no other homes have been damaged and the fire isn’t threatening any homes.
“Our only concerns right now is if the fire extends over the ridge to Keeau Homestead Road area,” said HFP Captain Robert Main.
Fire officials don’t know yet what sparked the blaze.
