CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Panthers have announced they’ve waived 11 players, including injured wide receiver Kealoha Pilares.

Pilares was the team’s fifth-round draft pick in 2011 and but caught only two passes in two seasons with the Panthers. He did have a 101-yard kickoff return for the touchdown last year.

Like Pilares, offensive tackle Bruce Campbell and fullback Mike Zordich were also waived/injured. Players who are waived/injured revert back to the club’s injured reserve list upon the next waiver period.

The Panthers also waived quarterback Colby Cameron, punter Jordan Gay, cornerback Nick Hixson, kicker Morgan Lineberry, wide receiver Dale Moss, defensive end Louis Nzegwu, linebacker Ryan Rau, safety Ricardo Silva and guard Justin Wells.
