Hiker airlifted out of Palolo ravine

Honolulu firefighters airlifted a hiker out of a Palolo ravine Sunday.

The incident happened at about 12:20 p.m. when the man’s hiking partners called for help after he fell 20 feet.

The hiker injured his ankle and couldn’t make it out on his own.

According to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, the man in his 30s was listed in stable condition.
