It’s a story KHON2 first aired about two weeks ago about a lot on Kapahulu Avenue with some food trucks doing business there illegally.
The city Department of Planning and Permitting had issued two notices of violation after receiving complaints from the community.
The food trucks that stayed around-the-clock needed a building permit which they didn’t have.
The lot must also have an all-weather surface and landscaping.
All of the food trucks are now gone.
The city says it did a re-inspection last week, and since the violations had been corrected, no fines were issued.
