Honolulu first responders offered a sneak peak into their first annual First Responders Fair on Wednesday.

The fair is happening this Saturday at the Honolulu Hale Civic Center grounds.

It will feature police canines, bomb squad robots, food trucks, and keiki activities.

During the event, teams of local artists will paint fire safety messages and art on blank panels for fire prevention week.

“This time we’re collaborating with the community and partnering up with various artists from middle school students to professionals that volunteered their time in an effort to help push prevention week and ultimately save lives,” said Reid Yoshida of the Honolulu Fire Department.

The 48 panels will be displayed at Oahu fire stations in October.

The fair is free and will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
