Hawaiian Electric crews have completed restoring power in the Lanikai area early Thursday morning.
According to HECO officials, the outage was caused by a problem with an underground cable.
Initially, approximately 1,000 customers were affected by the outage, which started at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Crews restored power to about 900 customers by 8:30 p.m.
Power was restored to the remaining 100 customers at about 12:30 a.m. after crews completed repairs to the underground cable.
