Corpse Flower Blooming

A rare and smelly plant is blooming on Oahu.

The corpse flower is showing its purple and pungent petals at Foster Botanical Garden.

Some have described its smell as “rotting flesh.”

Still, the plant is attracting many people to see and smell for themselves.

The corpse flower blooms every three to five years.

Foster Botanical Garden is open every day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
