Woman found not guilty of holding knife to child’s throat

An Aiea woman who was accused of holding a knife to her three-year-old daughter’s throat has been found not guilty.

On Aug. 29, 2013, a jury found Stephanie Pena not guilty of first-degree terroristic threatening and abuse of a household member.

Honolulu police said Pena got into an argument with her husband, then allegedly held the knife to the child’s neck until her husband gave in to what she wanted.

The child was not hurt.
