Two children are in stable condition after they were struck by a vehicle in Waipahu Wednesday morning.
According to the Honolulu Emergency Services Department, the incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. on Waipahu Street.
Officials say a 5-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl were on their way to August Ahrens Elementary School when the incident occurred.
A third child, a 2-year-old boy, fell out of a stroller during the commotion, but was not hit by the vehicle. He sustained minor injuries.
The three children were taken to an area hospital.
